Adjustment and Analysis of Three Dimensional Survey Networks

Abstract

In several control networks, point’s coordinates might be determined by taking reference points, and mathematical methods. In this research, the observation equation method was used to obtain least squares estimates of the unknown coordinates. Additionally, the analysis of these estimates is computed. It is found that the precision increases with increased redundancy. However at some stage this increase in precision becomes uneconomical. Finally, it is fond the simulation method, con be a powerful tool for design of control network.
