| Abstract: | This study was carried out in a number of 50 acquired immunodeficiency syndrome patients which is known as AIDS (28 males- 22 female), their ages ranges between 6- 60years. All these patients were examined by ultrasound. The study is conducted at voluntary and counseling testing center in Omdurman and Bashayer Teaching hospital, during the period from December2006 to April 2007. The study is calcified into fifth chapters, chapter one is the introduction of the research and the research methodology, chapter two is the literature review, chapter three deals with material and methods, chapter four deals with results of the research, chapter five is concerned with the discussion, conclusion and recommendations. At the last the references and appendices. The result showed that there are a lot of changes occur to the liver of the patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome |
