dc.description.abstractThis study to Estimate and demonstrate variation in kidney measurements (length, width and depth) compared with body characteristic. The study was conducted at Ct department in Elnileain private center (2012-2013) .this study was conducted from September 2012 up to February 2013. Random sample of fifty patients with different ages referred to CT department to do CT KUB. Axial,cronal and sagittal cuts to calculate the kidney size clearly. The results of the search, the kidneys dimensions and depth can be attributed to the body characteristics, where the length of the Lt and Rt kidney related to the patient’s height and weight respectively. While the kidney width associated with the patient’s height. depth of the Lt Kidney related to both the height and weight of the patient as well the depth of the RT kidney related to the patient’s weight. Multidetector CT scan is the modality of choice to estimate the kidney dimensions and location.en_US
