| Abstract: | In this thesis the standard model of particle physics and the Higgs boson is discussed. It also contains information about CERN, the particle accelerator LHC and the ATLAS, CMS detectors, all used in the search for the Higgs boson. This thesis discussed Higgs decays to another particles W, Z and τ . The experiments done to search for Higgs boson searches from ATLAS are presented using three different data volumes at different times during 2011 till 2012. These results will also be simplified by plots showing the excluded masses from the Higgs boson searches. The Einstein generalized general relativity Lagrangian dependent on the second derivatives of the field, when use together with poison equation causes the mass term in the Lagrangian disappear. this means that Higgs field which was proposed to generate mass need to be revised. |
