dc.description.abstractRecent works have shown that analysis in cosmetics and beauty products from the European and Asian markets indicate the presence of , Th and rare earths besides other trace elements. Considering these previous findings and health issues, it would be valuable to obtain information on elements in cosmetics available in the Sudanese market. The purpose of this study was to acquire a multi-elemental profile of some make-up products in Sudan . Samples of eye shadow, eye liner, hair dye, lipstick, and compact face powder were analyzed applying Xrf analysis. Concentrations of more than Twelve (12) elements in samples are presented. The samples consist of Ca ,Ti ,Fe, Cu ,Pb ,Rb ,K ,Ni ,Sr ,Nb ,Zr ,Br ,Se and Y.en_US
