dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is determine the height of the pituitary gland in Sudanese. The sample size 50 cases ,25 male and 25 female were included the patients in modern medical center in Khartoum, in age from 1-66 years old. MRI machine 1.5 tesla is used, one planar view of the MRI, sagittal for measurement the height of pituitary gland. The results of these study: the mean of pituitary height in Sudanese were 5.39 ±1mm, the mean in female 5.65 ±1.2mm , is greater than male 5.13 ±0.68mm and that responding to gender, the pituitary height is increased during age in younger ages and decreased in older age, which related to physiological condition which differ from gender to other.en_US
