An Electronic Tracking System for Review of Scientific Papers

Abstract

There are Difficulties in evaluating and editing of scientific papers and research manually. Such as storing and securing these papers until they go through at many phases of the process and then evaluating and publishing or rejecting them, communication and coordination between authors, reviewers and editors and loss of a lot of time and effort and delay in the refereeing process. We have designed a system for evaluation of scientific papers. The system is flexible and efficient in the process of evaluation of papers. We achieved our system objectives is to design an interactive electronic system such as to manage the evaluation process scientific papers, Reduce editing time, maintain security and Integrity of the process and Tracking the status scientific papers. System development life cycle (SDLC) is the proposed method to implement the research. SDLC is a step-by-step process involved in the development of a software product.And build a site to evaluate scientific papers in which the author uploads a scientific paper to the site and then a user assign the upload date of the paper within the site and then the paper will be checked to make sure it matching each calibrator and conditions of the magazine. After confirming examination paper sent to the debugger linguistic correction process in terms of all the rules of the language used in the paper and then sent to evaluator or arbitrator to assess the paper in all respects according to the outcome of the arbitrator the magazine members will decides to publish the paper on the site or not if it needs any modifications ,finally the paper will be sent to the author with the final result of the evaluation. Finally, we have prepared reports for all the papers that have been evaluated on the evaluation site.
