Abstract: A field experiment was carried out for one season (2011) at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Agricultural Studies - Sudan University of Science and Technology , Shambat, to examine the effect of bio-fertilizer and the effect of different water levels on guar(Cyamposis tetragonoloba). The experimental design was randomized complete block design in split-plot arrangement with three replicates where irrigation intervals (7days,15 days ,and 21 days) treatments occupied the main plot and Phosphate bio-fertilizer(50,100,and 150g/ha) treatments in the sub – plots. Each treatment was planted in plot 3×3m with four ridges. Statistical analysis showed that there were highly significant differences among the different levels of irrigation intervals for plant height, leaf area, number of branches, number of leaves, days to50% maturity, number of pods per plant, yield per plant, yield (t/ha), and harvest index. The result of fertilizer doses showed that there were significant differences for only plant height, yield (t/ha) and harvest index, but there were no significant differences for the rest of the parameters. The interaction between irrigation intervals and Phosphate biofertilizer treatments had significant effect on plant height, number of pods per plant, yield per plant, yield (t/ha) and harvest index. Generally, irrigation every seven days was better than others, and the best fertilizer level was 150 g/ha.
