Abstract: The wide spread of base stations and mobile phones always accompanied by the issue of the health implications for human. In some previous studies it was shown that radiation emitted from base stations and mobile phones might have risky health effects[4].To avoid this problem ,this work utilized simulation to design attenuator near base station antennas,in order to attenuate these radiations to a permissible level. The characteristic (physical, geometry) of this attenuator have been determined by using Maxwell’s equation and Lambert law . The obtained results showed that the good conducting materials are the best elements for designing this attenuator .And the suitable technique for designing is obtained by coating the surface of antenna by the selected elements .
