Abstract: This study was carried out under laboratory conditions in Sharjah Emirate ( United Arab Emirates), during the period from October 2008 to December 2008, to study the effects of Neem water and Argel water extracts plants on white ants (Termites) in buildings and furniture (Subterranean termites), compared with a standard chemical pesticide (phosphorous compound) .Fortune E.C500 Evaluation of the effectiveness of these materials (chemical pesticide and plant extracts) depended on their decreasing or repelling the number of .termites on the treated wood The statistical analysis of these treatments (Neem, and Argel at concentration of 20% and the standard pesticide 0.0025%), showed the effectiveness and the repellent effect of termites in treated wood during the experiment for 30 days .( test period), compared to the control Neem water extract showed a good and clear effect on repelling termites from treated wood from the beginning up to the end of the experiment. ( 1) Argel water extracts, as well, showed less effect than that of Neem in repelling the white ants during the first two weeks, but this effect did not last until the end of the experiment (until the third week only) and in the fourth week Argel readings became similar to those of the control. On the other hand, the standard pesticide has shown effective results from the beginning up to the end of the experimnts in repelling of termites on .treated woods :The effectiveness of these materials was follows Chemical pesticide > Neem aqueous extract > .Argel aqueous extract
