dc.description.abstractAgriculture is considered one of the most important economic activities in the world and it has acquired a large share of technology in our time. In this research, a built-in system is designed to monitor and control certain environmental indicators such as temperature, relative humidity, soil moisture and lighting intensity in a greenhouse. Internet of things technology is used to enable the user to manage the greenhouse at anytime and anywhere in the world. This system consists of sensors, micro-controllers, and a wireless intermediary, a display screen to display the results, and devices to adjust the environmental conditions inside the greenhouse such as a fan, electric heater and water pump. This system is highly flexible and tolerant with faults. It is provided with a procedure to manage it in order to maintain the required climatic conditions in the greenhouse, and it is also provide with the ability to control it via the Internet in the event of an error in the automatic control. The extracted results confirmed the effectiveness of used wireless sensor networks technology and Internet of things technology in the management of the greenhouse and the possibility of linking a number of greenhouses together.en_US
