Abstract: This study was carried out in x-ray emergency department in Umbadda educational hospital to evaluate the importance of diagnosis of emergency radiographs. It was observed there is no radiologist in the x-ray department so emergency physicians participate in diagnosis of radiographs. The evaluation was done by comparing 50 radiographs diagnosed by emergency physicians and the radiologist for the same radiographs, it was found that 20 radiographs (40%)-their diagnosis incorrect with the radiologist reports. And by this uncorrected diagnosis, the emergency patient depend to save their lives. By the comparison between the diagnosis of the radiologist and the technologist for the mentioned radiographs, they are applicable in (80%) of the diagnosis. 100% of the medicals who were questioned-agree with the importance of the diagnosis of the emergency radiographs by the radiologist and 80% of them agree with the importance of the technologist diagnosis if there is no radiologist 100% of the technologists who were questioned- agree that they can reports radiographs if they have more studies under radiologist supervision.
