Abstract: | The research was conducted on stratified reservoir in Heglig main field, the primary objective was to maintain the reservoir pressure hence increasing the recovery of oil in addition to select the optimum flood pattern, favorable mobility ratio and water injection rate as well as to prolong the reservoir production life as much as possible. Many scenarios have been done by using CMG simulator with changing the injection rate, flood pattern and mobility ratio in each scenario. The results showed that the highest economic recovery was obtained from the normal five spot and the best injection rate was 5000 m3/day and also an increase in mobility ratio enhances the recovery of oil. It could be summarized that this study which is run on four productive zones in Heglig main field included all the objectives that it was conducted according to, and it might be applicable whenever it‟s realized that the results were economic. |
