Abstract

Abstracts Th e objective of this study is identify the effect of income generating projects on raising the economical and social standards of living of poor families on Ombada locality. To attain the objectives of this study the research used the social survey methods, in which (272) respondents were selected as a stratified random sample for the total of (3500) respondents the perfections of the projects. The Data collected by using questionnaire, personal obstrations, interviews and group discussan sessions to for the primary data and reviewing the concend documents and text boots in the aspects After analysis of the data collected it disussed and interpreted the study revealed several results of which are the following:- 1- There were no operational definitions for family production projects. 2- Marketing was a major problem for the respondents. x 3- The surrounding environment of the projects has not been considered or studied properly. 4- There were no training sessions were organized for project berficiaies. 5- The object suffered for ill planning, controlling and lack of informations. The study revealed several recommendations, some of which are mentioned below: 1- Focus on projects for groups than individuals. 2- Marking and Evolution for projects reformation personnel to manage income generating projects. 3- Provision of ample numbers of staff to manage these projects. 4- Make use of previous successful experiences of related institutions to improve and promote the idea
