Mobile phone radiation and health concerns have been raised, especially following the enormous increase in the use of wireless mobile telephony throughout the world [update. Mobile phones use electromagnetic radiation in the microwave range, which may be harmful to human health. mobile telephone services has expanded rapidly. Consequently, mobile phone base stations have become a common sight around and inside cities and along highways. Concerns have been raised about whether exposure to radiation from the base stations may have an adverse effect on human health. Some biochemical parameters in the serum of albino rats exposed to electromagnetic field and the therapeutic action of vitamin C or vitamin E (150mg/L) against harmful effect induced by electromagnetic field have been evaluated. Electromagnetic field exposure decreased the concentrations of serum glucose, triglycerides, total cholesterol, total protein and globulin, but albumin, urea, uric acid and creatinine were increased. Activities of serum a spartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) were increased. However, vitamin C or E were able to improve most the effect values of the previous biochemical parameters. Also the effect of electromagnetic field for 2 weeks on growth rate ,complete blood picture and some liver enzymes of albino rats and the therapeutic action of vitamin C or E against harmful effect induced by electromagnetic field has been investigated, electromagnetic field exposure caused a significant increase in growth rate at the end of experiment, while electromagnetic field exposure caused a significanten_US
