This is a descriptive study sample group were all patients with renal malignancy carried out in Radiation & Isotope Center in Khartoum (RICK) –Sudan from August. 2018 – January 2019. Aim of study was to draw attention towards prevalence rate of malignant renal mass using ultrasonography during the end of the last year. A sample of 56 patients with malignant renal mass and they are different gender and age group were selected, their Aged range (1-70) years (male 50% , female 26.8% and children 23.2%) who were referred for U/S evaluation for follow up and in cases of recurrent symptoms related to renal malignancy. Trans abdominal scanning was done for all cases using aloka with curvilinear probe of 3.5 to 5 Megahertz (MHz) and with 7.5 to 12 MHz linear probe. Patient scanned first by candidate and then by senior sinologist to confirm final diagnosis. Data collected using special data collection sheet designed to evaluate gender, age, sex, clinical finding, operation or under treating . For analyzing of collected data study used Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Results revealed that, male are more affected, and the peak incidence for children renal malignancy between the age group 1-4 years. And 50-60 years for adults; residence in capital, central northern, western and eastern province, the lower incidence in the eastern, and in the Southern province no cases of renal malignancy was detected. Also it found that, in the patients who had nephroctomy, the most commonest symptoms was abdominal mass with loin pain so mass with loin pain was very strong indicator for further investigation to confirm final diagnosis. VII Study recommended that further studies should be done with increased number of sample and introduced other age group.en_US
