Evaluation of Abdominal Emergency using medical ultrasound

Abstract

Utrasonography plays an extremely important role in diagnosing acute abdominal diseases and disorders . It an easy and safe method of diagnosis compared to CT and MRI . In this study the researcher reviewed the gross anatomy and physiology of the abdominal organs . then with the medical labs and pathology . In this study , there were 960 cases . A survey has been done over 200 abnormal cases of acute abdominal disorders .The survey was distributed as fallows , 35 trauma cases , 30 gastrointestinal cases , 65 hepatobiliary cases , 30 cases acute pancreatic cases , 30 urinary system cases and 10 retroperitoneal cases.It has been found that US was fast and doesn’t have radiological complications in diagnosing choledocholith and stones in the bladder , ureters and kidneys . In addition it’s effective in diagnosing hemangiomas in the liver and spleen . It’s powerful in detecting aneurysms.Finally , it has a major role in detecting and diagnosing acute abdominal diseases.
