Abstract: This study aims at Investigating Sudan School Certificate English Language Examination, based on An Analytical and Evaluative Study. The researcher has adopted the descriptive analytical approach, where a questionnaire is used as a tool for collecting the thesis data. The sample of the questionnaire consists of (104) secondary school English language teachers. The researcher applied the Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) program for analyzing the results of the study. The results have shown that: Sudan School Certificate (SSC) English examinations aren't constructed according to the students' future needs, there are problems related to (SSC) English learning-teaching environment that negatively affect (SSC) English examination construction, and the ways of designing (SSC) English examination can be changed for developing English language at tertiary level. Reaching these results has driven the researcher to give some recommendations. Literature is the foremost among these recommendations, where the recent researcher recommends that literature should be compulsory taught to all (SSC) candidates. Hopefully, students develop their vocabulary on smooth natural basis, as literature reflects real life situations on paper. In addition to that, some suggestions are made for further studies.
