The aim of this descriptive study was to evaluate the computed tomography findings of the brain in patients with headaches, as well as to evaluate the incidental findings that may present. The study aimed to identify the most common causes of headaches over again and find out feasibility of conducting tests of CTbrain scan of patients who suffer from headaches. The study conducted on 50 patients with headaches underwent a CT scan of the brain in AltamayozHospital; the sample contained 25 males and 25 females, their age rangedfrom 5 years to 100 years. Some patients were examined using the modified protocol for imaging the brain and the modification is limited to increasing the field of view only; Data were collected using data collection sheet designed by researcher to include all the variables in the study and the data analyzed using (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). The study revealed that the main findings of CT brain were Normal (56%), (24%) showed sinusitis, (10%) showed infarction, (4%) showed hemorrhage, (2%) showed calcifications and (4%) showed brain stroke. The study found that the majority of patients suffering migraine had normal CT brain, as (26) out of (50) patients of headache had normal CT brain. Based on the percentages above CT examination for the brain in cases of headache could be conducted especially under adequate clinical examination.en_US
