Abstract: | This study investigating the influence of motivation and self-esteem on speaking English fluency. The researcher has noticed that the students ability of spoken English is very weak even English language university students have a serious problem in spoken English, and are slow in speaking. The main question of this study is (to what extent does motivation and self-esteem affect fluency among university students?). The main hypotheses -Self-esteem and motivation carefully taken care of can help students develop and improve oral abilities . The methodology of the study are descriptive and analytical method . A questionnaire administered to both tutors and students .The experiment carried out at the Sudan University of Science and Technology, College of Languages . The finding revealed that motivation and self-esteem have great affect on speaking fluency , students fears to use English language communicatively particularly in public . |
