Abstract: Transformers are basic design of electrical device which provide power transmission by transforming induced current from one circuit to another. The induced current can be converted step up or step down of current or voltage. This study concerns wireless monitoring transformer using microcontroller. The main aim of this study is to monitor and control the transformer through Radio Frequency (RF) module. The monitoring and control is done by using arduino (controller), sensors, and RF transmission module which is wireless communication. The parameters such as: voltage, current, temperature, moisture and oil level are monitored to protect the system from the rise in it by regular observation. Then send the same data to remote location. Providing the protection to the transformer can be accomplished by shutting down the entire unit with the aid of the radio frequency. Moreover the system displays the same on a Personal Computer (PC) at the main station which is at a remote place.
