The objective of this cross sectional study were measurement of maxillary Sinuses in the Sudanese people using three dimensions (3D) computed tomography scan and correlate the measurement to the mean of patients age and gender. Sample size 34 with age ranged between (18-61) years Were included; and sample with any abnormalities excluded. 3D CT scan were obtained using CT machine with 130 kvp and 40 mAs in the radiology department (ElmakNimir University Hospital). The measurement of maxillary sinuses was taken in mms for both genders. The result showed there is no statistically difference between the mean of neither length nor width for male and female. The total variation in the maxillary length and width can be explained by the person’s age. In this case, no any participate of age to maxillary sinus there is a very small variation in width is due to age. The maxillary length not affected by age, while maxillary width decreases 0.002+0.003cm per a year in age. The maxillary length increases 0.006+0.006cm per one cm in person’s weight, and the maxillary width increases 0.004+0.004cm per one cm in person’s weight. The 3D CT scan is a good method in demonstration of the anatomy of the maxillary sinuses. The normal mean + SD mm for length and width.en_US
