The aim of this research to study renal functions test in Sudanese patients with systemic lupus erythromatosus )SLE). In addition of estimated creatinine clearance and compared between the SLE disease and duration of disease . Thirty Sudanese patient samples with SLE , were selected from different hospital ,from the period February to May 201.Also thirty healthy people as control. Venous blood samples (3ml) were taken from all subjects to determine S.creatinie & B.urea were measured by enzymatic method .S. sodium &S. potassium were measured by Cornley-Electrolyte analyzer . Creatinine clearance calculated by Cockcroft-Gault formula. The study results showed SLE more common in females than males, the ratio was 6:1. The evaluation of the blood urea p=(0.000), creatinine clearance p=(0.004), and body surface area p=(0.015) were significantly affected in SLE patients ,serum creatinine p=(0.09), serum sodium p=(0.029) and serum potassium p=(0.14) were insignificantly not affected in SLE patients compared with control group. Rheumatoid arthritis and hypertension were present in almost patients . Some patients had renal failure due to severe complication of the diseases.en_US
