Articleen_US
Non-conventional homologous de-emulsifiers derived from natural non-edible oil such as Jatropha oil were synthesized to replace the conventional de-emulsifiers. These deemulsifiers are characterized by their high tendency toward de-emulsification. The aim of this study is to synthesize and characterize three environment friendly nonionic ester deemulsifiers derived from Jatropha non-edible oil and to evaluate their de-emulsification efficiency in the petroleum industry, for treating water in crude oil emulsion.en_US
