The main purpose of this report is to evidently prove proper functionality of the system that allows only authorized people or vehicles to enter a particular area of an establishment through a security Beam Gate and developing a system that achieves this by using RFID technology. We used an Arduino-based RFID reader that uses an electromagnetic field which interacts with unique tags. Each tag contains a unique identification code with which a person could access the area. By emitting low-level radio frequency magnetic field the RFID energizes the tag. By bringing the tag closer to the sensor the tag responds via radio waves transmitting its unique identification data and the gate automatically opens if the tag holds information confirmed by the main server. If it doesn’t confirm the data the gate remains closed. The system presented in this work is implemented using described components and means of operation. During different test sets the system confirms its proper operation achieving our design objectives.en_US
