Abstract: | Automatic irrigation system powered by solar energy is a system designed to control the irrigation operation and use the solar energy as a source of power. The main goal of the project is to design a system that irrigate seeds without human contribution, also to provide the system with power that needed by solar panels. The challenge is to adjust the perfect humidity to the plants. The result of this thesis is a system use soil moisture sensor to sense the humidity of the soil which will control the pump. The design has been developed successfully. The running cost of the irrigation has been reduced and the physical effort in irrigation is saved. There were not many unexpected problem during the implementation of the system. However, there is still possibility for further improvement such as, adding machines to pesticides the seeds |
