Two hundred subjects were included in this study; ranged between 1-90 years old, of mean age was 27.6 ± 20.9 years. Males were 102 (51%) while females were 98 (49%). Two hundred blood samples were examined to detect Plasmodium spp in stained thick and thin blood smears. Out of 200 blood samples, 64 (32%) were positive for P.falciparum. Anti-hepatitis-C and anti-hepatitis-B viruses were detected by using immune chromatography test (ICT). Out of 200 blood samples, 5 (2.5%), 16 (8%) were positive for hepatitis C and hepatitis B respectively. When the results were analyzed, the study showed that there is significant relationship between malaria and hepatitis-C virus (p.value= 0.020) and there is no relationship between malaria and hepatitis-B virus (p.value=0.081).en_US
