Abstract: | This cross-sectional study was conducted in Gazera state at the kidney failure Center in the period from March to July 2012 to measure the levels of calcium and phosphate in patients 40with renal failure before and after haemodialysis. The researcher took a sample of 40 apparently healthy individual as control group , measurement by automated or chemical analyzer(Hitachi902 , AVL918) (there is no difference in age between patients and healthy people), then the researcher measured the levels of calcium, phosphate, and analyzed the results statistically. The study showed low level of calcium before and after dialysis the P.value (0.00), while the low-phosphate after dialysis the P.value (0.00) before dialysis normal p.value (0.07) when comparing the averages of the disease with healthy people. The renal failure patients who use vitamin D and dose of calcium were found that they have high level of calcium p.value (0.00) before and after dialysis in the same category while the normal phosphate level before and after dialysis the p.value is greater than (0.05) This study concluded that the average of calcium is low level in patients with kidney failure that not vitamin use or calcium intake , while high calcium in patients with renal failure and blood pressure using a dose of vitamin D or calcium before and after hemodialysis, while the phosphate is not affected before or after washing in all cases . |
