Abstract: MRI is anew and promising tool that is being used in the diagnosis of meningiomas . This study was carried Out in Khartoum Advanced Diagnostic Center (KADC) by using MRI Machine. The objective of this study to determine the evaluation of MRI in diagnosis and classification of meningiomas. The study was based on twenty five(25) patients with clinically diagnosed of meningiomas , and were grouped according to sex , male (n=12) about (48%),and female (n=13) about (52%), according to age the study finding in 11 patients (44%) with range (40-60)years,6 patients (24%) with age range (60-80) years, 5 patients (20%) with range (20-40)years,3 patients (12%) with age range (1-20)years. according to this result meningiomas is rare in young patients(1-20)years and is more common in elder patients(40-60)years. According to the site, the study showed no common site for meningiomas According to the size, large and medium meningiomas appears with same percentage 6 patients about 24% for both, but small size appear in 13 patients about 52%. It was concluded that the MRI has a very high accuracy in diagnosis and classification of meningiomas.
