Abstract: | Estimating power demand (or simply Load Calculation), is a combination of science and art. It’s an area of electrical engineering where there is no specific final answer. There was very little planning of wiring installations and electrical load calculation in the early days of electricity. But now, with supplies from the grid, very large sources of power are introduced into all premises which use electricity, and proper planning and design have become essential to guarantee electrical sustainability for any project. This project aims to introduce an appropriate method to calculate the electrical loads in a building and design its wiring using computer software, taking into account the IEC Standard of Wiring. |
