dc.description.abstractThis study primarily purposed to investigate the link between bilingualism and personality change in language use with focus on co-ordanate by bilinguals. It tried to find out how two languages speakers are different in the way they view the world and the way they use their two languages. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical method for describing what influences that bilingualism could have on bilinguals' personality. The researcher used a questionnaire as data collecting tool. It was hypothesized that there is a relation between biculturity and the way people use the language. It was also hypothesized that there is a relationship between the language someone speaks and the way they view the world. It is concluded that about 71% of the respondents responded to the statements that their personality as bilinguals is affected by English language in language relation to culture.14% of the respondents do not agree to the statements while 15% of the respondents see that they are not sure about whether there is influence on their personality due to culture influence. In the area of language relation to thinking, the results proved that 65% of the respondents see that their personality is affected by the target language's characteristics. 20% of the respondents opposed that there is influence and 15% are not sure. On the whole 67% of those who responded see that English as their second language has influence on their personality when they use it, behave or think in it.en_US
