dc.description.abstractThe prevalence of fractured foot is reported to be increasing across the world. This study is done to know the main causes of the fractures of ankle and foot in pediatrics and adolescence as to aid the emergency department doctors to manage these challenging injuries more effectively in the acute settings, also to determine the demographic variation among study population. A cohort study underwent in an Ambulatory Care Centers, Al Mafraq and Al Rahba Hospitals in Abu Dhabi city of United Arab Emirates, from September 2014 till September 2015. A total of 200 cases of pediatrics and adolescence between zero to 20 years of age were included in a study were suspected ankle and foot fractures can be found. This study concluded that 41% had foot and ankle fractures and the majority of them is due to car accidents, also they found to be of male adolescence population.en_US
