This thesis represents a simple study of the design concept of a new generation of civilian aircrafts called "BLENDED WING BODY" aircraft , which are meant to replace the current cylindrical figure aircrafts in the sooner future . The search and study began with the conceptual design phase , taking both AIRBUS 380 & BOEING 747 & BOEING 777 as design references as they are all of the same weight and passenger capacity (500) . The design process started by setting the requirements based on historical data mostly, following all the conceptual design stages till the 3D-VIEWS was obtained. Going through airfoil selection , mission , weight estimation to the performance analysis of the aircraft which is mentioned in details . To conclude this study, this type of aircrafts has less fuel consumption and a better performance when compared to conventional aircrafts. However , the only problem that had to be dealt with was the airfoil selection which was solved at the drawing phase . with a better solutions proposed for any future work.en_US
