| dc.description.abstract | Tobacco (nicotinarustica ) contains a chemical called nicotine. Which is an addictive substance. This study was conducted to determine the percentage of nicotine in a sample of tobacco (nicotinarustica), where the sample collected from the stores of tobacco dealers in Omdurman. Soxhlet devicewas used to extract nicotine from the sample. And it has been used IR device for detecting the identity of nicotine extract. Also been using UVdevice and device HPLC to determine the percentage of nicotine in the tobacco sample, It was found that the ratio of 5.25% and 5.398% respectively. | en_US |
