Descriptive cross-sectional study is conducted to determine the normal reference values of hemoglobin concentration, hematocrit, red blood cells count, red blood cell indices, white blood cells and blood platelets counts for adult healthy females.625 apparently healthy adult females from most common tribes in Sudan were selected. EDTA anti coagulant venous blood samples (3 ml) was collected from each subject .complete blood count (CBC) was measured using automated hematological analyzer (Sysmex kx- 21N). Analysis was done in ALAMAL National Hospital. The ages of the subjects ranged from 18 to 68 years. A questionnaire and informed concent was filled by each subject. The results showed that the Hb concentration range was (12.04±1.32) g/dl. HCT (38.56 ±4.81)%, RBCs count (4.65 ±0.45) × 106μL, MCV (82.82 ±7.18), MCH (26.07±2.40) pg, MCHC (31.22±2.10)g/dl, WBCs count (6.49 ±1.95) × 10³/μL, blood Platelet count range was (280.7±73.0) ×10³/μL.en_US
