dc.description.abstractIn this study photo ablation interaction between laser and matter have been used to remove rust from iron surface ,this technique based on absorption of laser beam by thin layer on surface in very short time that lead to heat the surface and remove the rust particles from it, Nd:YAG laser used with energy 400mJ,repitition rate was 8Hz,wavelength 1064 nm and pulse duration10ns,the rust of iron was ablated when it irradiated by laser beam, and we notes that from the results this method is moreaccurate, fast and very effective . So this technique can be used in broadband to clean other metallic materials and others.en_US
