Abstract: This statistical study conducted to calculate the overall 5-years survival rate of cancer in Sudan and to represent the factors which may affect this rate. The study based on data of 160 adult cancer patients treated in the Radiation and Isotopes Center of Khartoum (RICK) in the period of 2005 -2008 and followed by their treatment sheets and death certificates until 2013. The study found that the overall 5-years survival rate of cancer in Sudan is 33.75% and there is many factors affect this rate, these factors include the patient sex, diagnoses to treatment time, treatment type, cancer site and grade of the disease.
