| Abstract: | The aim of this study was to assess accuracy of emergency conventional performing beside ct scan in traumatic patients and to evaluate whether early computed tomography is superior to routine x-ray In the diagnostic traumatic disorders in all cases. The study was conducted at radiology department in Khartoum hospital , Antalya Centre and Royal Care hospital in period from May 2014 to December 2014 . 102 traumatic patients presenting to emergency department for different radiological examination , both genders were composed ,57 were males and 45 were females , conventional x-ray and CT scan were obtained for them according to their status , as well as more than 91 patients have proper examination and 4 patients they have no proper exam in both males and females. Study was correlated significantly with technique . Computed tomography is modality of choice to detect traumatic injuries and is superior to routine x-ray. |
