dc.description.abstractThis study was aimed to study PNS diseases and their complications using CT(computed tomography ). It was conducted in Malitary hospital (Omdurman ),Antalya medical center ,Alrebat universal hospital ,in the period from april to may 2015, 86 pt of different ages and gender ,whom suspected of having PNS diseases underwent CT scan of the PNS using (Toshiba 64 ,GE 8 ,Siemens 16) the scanning was done with 3-5 slice thickness .the results were confermed that the PNS diseases were common ,the diseases of chronic sinusiƟs had higher frequency 41% .the unilateral pathological lesions had higher frequency 61%,also the common site of the pathologies were maxillary sinus.the range of ages(26 to 40)had higher frequency 32% .the disease of chronic sinusitis was more in male than female .finally the study finding that the spiral ct effective imaging in studing pns diseases ,it superior than plain x-ray .en_US
