Les aspects sociocultureles dans le roman traduit: Saison de la Migration Vers le Nord.

Abstract

The research aims to study the sociocultural dimension for the translated copy of the novel of writer season of Migration to the north by the international novelist Al Tayeb Salih, which is considered one of the most famous novels in the word, addition it is translated to22 languages including French language. The study focuses on the social folklore example which is mentioned in the original novel (Arabic version). To achieve this study, the researcher followed descriptive and analysis method, which focused on the first, to present the summary of the novel and the main characters, and the theme in the novel? The researcher divided the study into three chapters which include in the first chapter to present a summary of the novel and the main characters, and the main aims in the novel. The second chapter consist definition of the translation theory, and particularly the literary translation. In the third chapter, which included social example analysis folklore which has mentioned in the original novel? The aim of the research to know the social culture dimension in the novel which is translated in French language. And the extent of harmony and success of this translation particularly some of the cultural features is difficult to transmit and translate to other language.
