dc.description.abstractEvaluation Of Quality control of MRI Machines is a very important.The aim of this study was to evaluate status of MRI machines by assessment the spatial resolution , SNR ,spatial linearity . The study was conducted at NFPMS Omdurman Sudan Al-Taheel Hospital Madani,Ribat University Hospital,Modern Medical Centre,Khartoum Diagnostic Centerfrom the period of January to August 2010. Results shows SNR was found to be 0.24, 0.29,0.19,0.16,0.13 for the NFPMS Omdurman Sudan ,Al-Taheel Hospital Madani,Ribat University Hospital,Modern Medical Centre,Khartoum Diagnostic Center respectively.that means Altaheel Hospital had scored the highest SNR the mater that affects the image quality positively. Uniformity was found to be 71%,79%,88%,90% and 86% atthe NFPMS Omdurman Sudan ,Al-Taheel Hospital Madani,Ribat University Hospital,Modern Medical Centre,Khartoum Diagnostic Center respectively, means Modern Medical Centrehad scored the highest uniformaty value, the matter that affects the image quality positivly. Resolution was evaluated and the result was found to be 1.1,0.5,0.35 and 0.4 at Al-Taheel Hospital Madani,Ribat University Hospital,Modern Medical Centre,Khartoum Diagnostic Center respectively,that means Modern Medical Centrehad scored the highestresolution images, the matter that affects the image quality positivly. Linearity was found to be 74.3%, 83.54%, 90.42% and 88.45% forAl-Taheel Hospital Madani,Ribat University Hospital,Modern Medical Centre,Khartoum Diagnostic Center respectively, that means Modern Medical Centrehad scored the highest linearity measurement the matter that affects the image quality positivlyen_US
