dc.description.abstract Nowadays in most control systems , an interfacing of the real world with the a computing machine is very important, so computer interface is widely used for controlling various things which range from smalls devises up to huge plants. Computer has high performance interfacing capabilities with fast speed, high accuracy, high efficiency better performance which lead to the proper require results. On other hand, computer interfacing is cheap and easy to implement. For this master thesis, I would like to utilize a computer for multi system interface to specially control a traffic system is composed of traffic light signals, two roads barriers, camera, robot, and car. Although this project can be modified to serve other purposes but the main objectives of this project is to solve the problem of traffic accidents at road-cross which may results in severe injuries, losses of souls and properties. The strategy of solving this problem is to prevent traffic accidents, investigations in traffic violations and doing the best for accident occurrence to absorb some side effects of accidents. traffic light signals are introduced to manage and co-ordinate traffic flow, while road barriers are used for automatically closing the road during the red signals and automatically opening the road for green signal, a robot is introduced to act as a traffic man ; hence it raises its hand up at a red signal then down . The car can be driven by the computer without need of traditional driving. en_US
