Abstract:
There are different software used for processing GPS observed data, in order to reduce the amount of errors. Every manufacture have its own software. It is better to mention compatibility rather than protection.
In many cases this software is protected or secured. This research is oriented to try to get free from that software recommended by GPS manufacture.
In the research the data, which have been collected using GPS system 500, are processed using three different software : SKI Pro, Trimble Geomatics office (TGO) and Topcon link. The work comprises, data entry, adjustment and processing to produce the required information (coordinates)
Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that observed GPS data can be successfully processed utilizing a different software's rather than that recommended by the company.
