The aim of this study was to detect antibiotics residues in
poultry meat by TLC & microbiological methods
( Premi®Test). 48 chicken samples were collected from
Khartoum State. Results analyzed by SPSS program . By
4
Premi®Test 34 chickens were positive (70.8%) and 14
were negative (29.2), and by TLC 38 of samples were
positive (79.2%) and 10 samples were negative (20.8) . 29
samples were Positive by both method (60.4%).
Companies positive samples by Premi®Test represented
63.8% , whereas by TLC the positive sampleswere 79.2%,
but farms positive samples represented 91.6% and same
result given by Premi®Test. According to place positive
sample in Khartoum locality by both methods
represented 60.6%, Bahry 50%and Umdorman 83.3% .
This represents highest percentage of antibiotics residues
in researches done in the world. More research work is
need to determine types of antibiotics used in poultry
meet. |
