Abstract:
Security systems are needed for occupants' convenience and safety. This
search, present advances a new design of intelligent security system design
and implementation of a low cost, low power consumption, and GSM (global
system for mobile communication) intelligent security system. The system is
contains a GSM and kinds of wire security sensor that are ultrasound security
sensor. The system components are easy installing. The system can response
rapidly to alarm incidents by sending alarm message, and has a friendly user
interface.
In this search many devices are used; Ultrasonic radar is a sensor that
used for motion detection it is range is (20 – 250) cm it sends out pulses of
ultrasonic waves and measures the reflection off a moving object ;LCD
(Liquid Crystal Display) screen, and it used for display the system mode; the
microcontroller that used to control the previous devices is Atmega 16,
through the program written by using basic compiler (BASCOM), and it's
also controlled the PC program; host PC connect to the microcontroller ,it
control webcam and GSM modem through the program written by ASM;
webcam used the take a photo, it controlled by the PC; GSM (Global System
for Mobile )modem, it's send a warring message to specific No. using AT
commands , it's also controlled by the PC to send.
Firstly concepts and the architecture of the system are explained, and
then introduce some important hardware design and the key software design
in detail. The experiments show a good alarming and control ability. Finally
concluded the work, and discussed the future directions of the project.
