This study aimed at investigating the problems of oral communication that encounter university students at Sudan University. The researchers used the descriptive analytic method. A questionnaire was distributed to fifty teachers of English language and oral test for 20 students. Having collected the data and analyzed it statistically using SPSS package, the research comes up to the following findings: University teachers use mother tongue more than the foreign language, students do not participate in oral communication due to psychological problems such as shyness and lack of self- confidence also teaching methodology not appropriate enough to encourage students. The researchers recommend that teachers should be familiar with so many activities and techniques to help learners to get rid of negative psychological factors by motivating and encouraging them to speak English language. Also they shouldn’t have to use mother tongue inside the classroom.

This paper reports on the CLIL reflection on the features and considerations when implementing Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in  EFL contexts . Initially, this paper aims at reflecting the role of CLIL as an innovative and changing educational approach. Secondly, Content and Language Integrated Learning is defined along its implications by fostering the attention to CLIL benefits. Lastly, the article offers a broad view about the inclusion of CLIL pedagogy in classroom practice. The questionnaire was adopted to collect data from CLIL teachers in international schools in Khartoum State. The main findings of the study are as follow: CLIL encourages learner’s view of foreign language; also in the long run it helps in developing EAP and ESP in tertiary education. The study recommends: the importance of the implementation of CLIL in EFL practice either fully or partially. Projects and studies from CLIL classrooms are needed to measure the value of this approach in EFL context.

Background: This article explored the efficiency of family psycho-education intervention (FPP) in increasing the knowledge and reducing the burden of care for Sudanese caregivers of individuals with schizophrenia. Methods: Caregivers of patients diagnosed with schizophrenia in outpatients’ hospitals were assigned to the intervention program. Pre and post measurements were applied for the assigned group. The psycho-educational program consisted of ten 180-min sessions held for ten weeks. Caregiver Burden (ZCB) scale and questionnaire were measured at baseline and after the intervention. Results: There was statistically significant increase on the level of knowledge and decrease of the burden of caregivers following FPP intervention. Conclusion: Results suggest that psycho-educational intervention for Sudanese family members caring for patients with schizophrenia would increase caregivers’ knowledge about the illness and reduce difficulties families are facing which might improve their psychological health.

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على الصعوبات التي تواجه معلمي التربية البدنية في إستخدام الطرق والأساليب الحديثة في التدريس بالمرحلة الثانوية. إستخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي لملاءمته لطبيعة الدراسة. تكون مجتمع االدراسة من معلمى ومعلمات التربية البدنية بالمرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة بحرى . تم إختيار العينة بالطريقة العشوائية من مجتمع الدراسة  وقد بلغ عدد أفرادها (30) معلما" ومعلمة . أستخدمت  الإستبانة كأداة لجمع البيأنات. تم جمع البيانات و معالجتها إحصائيا بإستخدام الوسيط والإنحراف المعياري والنسبة المئوية . وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج أهمها التحسن في قناعة ورغبة المعلم في تطوير مهاراته وكفاياته المهنيه وتكامل ثقافته وإطلاعه الخارجي مما يساعده في إختيار الطرق والأساليب الحديثة في التدربس. ويعتبر توفر الإمكانات المادية بالمدارس من إحدى الصعوبات التي تواجه معلم التربية البدنية في إستخدام الطرق والأساليب الحديثة في التدريس بالمرحلة الثانوية. أوصت الدراسة بتشجيع المعلمين وتحفيزهم على تطوير مهاراتهم وكفاياتهم المهنيه مع  ضرورة عقد دورات تدريبية تأهيلية للتعرف على أحدث الوسائل وطرق التدريس في المجال.
