In our community women with disability face discrimination&#13;
on different layers. They suffer from being isolated,&#13;
under-educated and unemployed; accordingly, they&#13;
face ignorance and poverty the thing which may lead&#13;
to low self-steam. ICT can help those women in having&#13;
access to education; break the social isolation and getting respectful jobs, thus, leading&#13;
prosperous independent lives.

<title>Girls’ Education in Sudan Past, Present and Future</title>
<link>https://repository.sustech.edu/handle/123456789/19564</link>
<description>Girls’ Education in Sudan Past, Present and Future
Ali, Alshafaa Abdelgadir Hassan
We begin by praying to Allah for two things: encouraging us&#13;
to keep learning, and asking us not to make any discrimination&#13;
based on gender as we engage in a process of learning. The&#13;
Prophet Mohammed bin Abdullah was also very keen to spread&#13;
knowledge and enlightened teachings &amp; ideas.&#13;
Studying the history of Sudanese girls is an exciting enjoyable&#13;
matter in many ways and dimensions. As a researcher, I was&#13;
very amazed to discover that Sudanese women were able to rule&#13;
their communities as sovereign queens even before the Birth of&#13;
Christ. That is an evidence that they possessed exceptional skills&#13;
in management and knowledge, because persons assuming governing&#13;
positions have to be literate and knowledgeable.

Higher education institutions have three main objectives:&#13;
