dc.description.abstract |
This study was determines the normal renal parameters for Adult
Sudanese. It was done in the central Sudan in Alhaj yousif town. This
study was conducted in the period from May 2011 Sept to March 2012
using Aloka SR 500 and Fukuda Denshi 4100 equipment with 3-5MHz . it
was done in healthy people , 80 individual were scanned exclusion the
patient no one exceed the globally acceptable length of 12.6 cm.
Height measuring tools was used in centimeter
method of the procedure:
the study was cross sectional a total number of 80 healthy volunteers free
from physical problem were chosen. Height was measured on subject
without shoes using measuring scale that fixed to the wall.
Sonography was done using 3.5 Mega hertz the longest kidney length
(bipolar length) was measured in saggital view which can obtained by
potting the patient supine or lateral decubitus and measure the kidney
length from upper to lower pole also I did transves view for taking the
thickness of the kidney (A.P) diameter.
The maximum renal length was 12.6 and the mean was 11.1cm, the
maximum renal width was 5.6 and the mean width 4.9 cm, the maximum
renal thickness was 5.1 and the mean was 4.3cm, the maximum renal
volume was 160 and the m was minimum 125.9 cm3.
The study showed there is direct linear relationship between the
patient height and the renal volume. |
