Abstract:
The research “Evaluation of a Learning Package on Basic Drawing Techniques in Art
Education” was performed to enhance and upgrade the medium though which the
subject is presented to Art and education art students “computer technology”.
The main objective of the research is the determine the effectiveness of the created
learning package on many different aspects which include the following:
Carrying out formative and summative evaluation to the learning package on
basic drawing techniques in art education.
Establishing criteria of effectiveness for the drawing learners in Sudan
University of Science and Technology at the College of Education, Department
of Art and the College of Fine and Applied Art.
Explaining if a learning package on basic drawing techniques in art education
adheres the four adequacies of instructional design, cosmetic, technical,
curriculum, pedagogical adequacies of Hannafin, M. & Peck, K (1988).
The literature relative to the subject is included in the thesis, which consist of the
basic theories of education constructivism, behavorism and Instructivism.
For the education the package was presented to a group of volunteers “students”
fine and applied art and education art in Sudan University of Science and
Technology accompanied by a questionnaire, expert review, checklist and
observation
The learning package is satisfactorily favoured by the students tacked it as well as
the field expert.
