ICT-Based Plan for Education Development in Sudan

Abstract

Extensive use of information communication applications in all areas of our life, especially in education led to appearance of new patterns in education which easier and faster in dissemination of information and even understand it has become faster and easier, therefore these applications had a basic role in the developing and the rise of the developed world. It became necessary to maximum benefit from information and communication technology and it is application that available to be an education tool which easy, cheap, fast, and had a powerful effect on its users.

This research aims to develop a plan for the development of the educational system in Sudan, using applications of information and communication technology that available to effectively and to contribute the development process in Sudan, through study and evaluate the experiences of other countries.

The fundamental problem is the majority of the Sudanese citizen have computer literately, A case study on one of the secondary school that teach computer usage subject to make it the nucleus to address this problem, the case study results was good and that reflected from the response of the peoples who was involved with the matter, and that was a clue to the possibility of success this idea widely all over the country.
